Indoor Group’s upholstery and mattress factory, Insofa LTD, has started to manufacture face masks. The product in question is a light disposable face mask for everyday use. The factory has the necessary know-how and equipment for manufacturing the face masks, with enough capacity to make up to 40,000 items every month, if necessary. Thanks to the factory’s established supply channels, it has been possible to source European materials despite the difficult circumstances.
The first production batch was donated to the Päijät-Häme Joint Authority for Health and Wellbeing. The donation was received by the Assortment Manager, Ms Jonna Putkonen and Mr Jyri Riuttala. Jonna Putkonen said that the donation is welcome and that the masks will be used for home care services.
The Indoor Group board of directors has appointed M. Ec. Veronica Lindholm as the new Chief Executive Officer. Ms Lindholm will take up her duties on 11 March 2020.
Ms Lindholm has a wide range of experiences and knowledge of marketing and management in firms in the consumer products and service sector. She has pursued her last activity as the Finnkino group CEO (and at management level, e.g. at Mondelez Oy and at the Walt Disney Company Nordic before it).

Indoor Group has opened local online stores for the ASKO and SOTKA chains.
Online stores are part of Indoor Group’s strategy to expand into the Baltic market and research shows that there is demand in Latvia for Asko’s interior decoration and Sotka’s quick and easy product range. Asko and Sotka have previously been included in the store network in Latvia and our brands are familiar to consumers. There are thousands of products in the collections of our online stores and we also offer transportation of large furniture throughout Latvia and the possibility of pick-up in Riga. Operations in Latvia are operated through the company located in Estonia.
For the fourteenth consecutive year, consumers have chosen Asko as Finland’s most trusted furniture store in the most trusted brand survey commissioned by Valitut Palat (Reader’s Digest).
Asko, who has been decorating Finnish homes for over a century, has shown in a survey commissioned by Valitut Palat that its position as a trusted brand that meets consumers’ needs continues to be strong. The survey of Valitut Palat is one of the largest consumer surveys in Europe.
